April 2016 I set off on another trip round the world. This time however I decided to travel solo on a motorcycle. After looking at the map a few thousand times I decided to ride all the way to the eastern side of Russia, I then shipped my bike over to Canada. From there I followed the west coast all the way south and into central America. Next up was sailing across the Caribbean Sea into Colombia and carrying on south down to Santiago in Chile. As it was winter time I made the decision to push east and ship out of Buenos Aires in Argentina to Europe and ultimately return back home to England.  The trip took 505 days and I visited 29 countries across 4 continents. I wanted to see the world again and visit places I had not yet been to.

I had been around the world before on a single trip but never planned anything this big. The trip took me to places in countries that most people could not even point to on a map. It was an exciting adventure for sure.

I completed this trip at the beginning of September 2017. The funding for this trip was acquired by myself through good old fashioned working and saving the pennies and I quit my job to take on this adventure. You can look through my blog posts to read up on bike preparations, tips on saving and other things. When I was on the trip I shared a lot about emotions, feelings and all the nitty gritty stuff that comes with a journey like this.
